Few young entrepreneurs of Bishnupur founded a trust with a dream to set up an educational hub at Bishnupur. So the trust Bishnupur Public Education Society established a new Elementary Teacher Training Institute at Gossainpur, named Bishnupur Public B.Ed. College, Mansadanga, P.O- Gossainpur, Dist.- Bankura.
The best of the curriculum, textbooks, and resources are of little significance for children’s education without a teacher. On the basis of N.P.E. 1986 and S.S.A., we established this institution to produce quality teachers to fulfill the needs of present society as well as the new generation of learners.
Our efforts are directed towards producing competent teachers with spiritual and moral values that help learners build a new society in the light of Indian tradition and culture. We are also focusing on classroom processes and community-based practices for improving teaching–learning at the elementary stage.
